Stream of Tax Pledge Defectors Becomes a Flood

The post-election trickle of Republicans and conservative Democrats rejecting Grover Norquist’s pledge not to raise taxes is quickly becoming a flood, according to Rachel Weiner.
The most recent defection includes the entire Nebraska congressional delegation: Reps. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE), Adrian Smith (R-NE), and Lee Terry (R-NE) and Sens. Mike Johanns (R-NE) and Ben Nelson (D-NE).
Others: Reps. Tom Cole (R-OK), Tom Latham (R-IA) and Chris Gibson (R-NY).
