DefenseSequester Chart of the Day

– The Center for Strategic and International Studies provide this chart showing how recent deficit reduction measures, including the sequester set to go into effect next week, “would result in a defense budget drawdown of about 31 percent…a drawdown that is actually below the historical range.”

Aaron Blake has additional charts that proponents of the sequester use to show that “the cuts aren’t all that spectacular at all.”
