Housing Continues to Show Signs of Recovery

The Census Bureau released its estimate of new home sales for January, finding sales at “a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 437,000,” the highest level since January 2008.

Bill McBride: “Although there was a large increase in the sales rate, sales are still near the lows for previous recessions. This suggest significant upside over the next few years.”
